Complete chain-of-custody, Asset Tracking allows customers a complete view to the final disposition of their IT or electronic assets. With Asset Tracking, the serial number of the device and/or the Westech asset number is recorded and the full chain of custody is reported back.
The final outcome of the IT or electronic asset could be dismantled into basic component parts or it could be renewed for reuse or just reused as-is. In general, Asset Tracking is more effective for assets that are destined for reuse.
