
Recycled Electronics
As the largest electronics recycler in Arizona, Westech Recyclers can recycle a substantial variety of electronics. Below you will see a list of all electronics that we accept. We will happily recycle most of your donated electronics free of charge.
However, we will charge a fee of $50 for any CRT, DLP, or rear projection TV (except for customers with prior contracts). For hard drives, tapes, LCD, LED, and plasma TVs please contact us.
You can drop off your electronics at our 220 S. 9th St. Suite 400B Phoenix, AZ 85034 location.

No, you do not need to delete the data on your computer or laptop. We will destroy your data for you. You may want to ensure you have a backup of the files that you need since there is no recovery mechanism once we delete the data.

Yes, we will recycle the battery properly for you.
A damaged or punctured laptop battery is a hazard, and it may smoke or catch on fire. Please do the following:
- Place the battery into a non-flammable material such as sand or kitty litter as soon as possible. If it is smoking, put it in a bucket of water.
- Place the battery (one per bag) in a clear plastic bag with the sand or kitty litter. Take it to your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) recycling center.

It isn’t necessary to delete your data. We will destroy the data for you. You may want to ensure all your data that you want to keep has been backed up. There is no recovery mechanism once the data is destroyed. If you need the SIM card, please remove it.
Yes, but please be careful and do not damage the battery and do not use the battery. If you can remove the battery without damage, then place it into a clear plastic bag but be sure to protect the battery from puncture. There are numerous other places that will accept batteries for recycling; recycling the battery as soon as possible is the safest option.

Yes, but there is a $50 fee due to the hazardous materials contained in these TVs. Also, Arizona residents have options to recycle these types of TVs, please check out the links or guidance below.
First, please protect yourself and wear a dust mask while handling it. CRTs can contain anywhere from four to eight pounds of lead; you don’t want to breathe this in or dispose of it in the trash.
Second, please contain the dust as well as you can. If the crack can be taped, please do so. If possible, please place it into a thick plastic bag.
Lastly, we will accept the CRT for recycling but there is a $50 fee.

You can earn rewards at Office Depot when you recycle your ink or toner cartridges. With their broader store locations and the ability to earn rewards, this is the best recycling solution for you. You can also recycle at other office supply stores as well and there are mail-in programs that will pay you for your old cartridges.
Please protect yourself first by safely putting the cartridge into a sealed bag. The fine powder that some of these cartridges contain is hazardous when you breathe it in. Then take to one of the places mentioned above.
Yes, we will recycle your large office printer or copier. If you have ten or more electronic items to recycle, we offer a free pickup service. With a large office printer or copier, using our pickup service might be easier for you.

We recommend that the data is backed-up before turning it in to us. Once we get it, we destroy the data on the drive. Also, you do not have to physically make the drive inoperable; it is unnecessary.
